2016 SILVER ANNIVERSARY TEAM

Averaged double-double (13.1 points, 10.3 rebounds) for Scottsburg senior year and was named two-time Hoosier Basketball Magazine 1st team all-state, conference, sectional, regional and all-semi-state, plus A.P. all-state, USA Today all-state, Huntington Tipoff all-state and Connection Magazine Player to Watch.  Two-time MVP and team captain earned the Block Shot award and Rebound award three times.  Led Scottsburg to 82-8 record- four conference championships, three sectionals, three regionals, two semi-states, 1987 Hall of Fame Classic championship and 1989 state title under Hall of Fame coach, Donna Cheatham.  Scored 32 points as a sophomore in 1989 State Finals games. Played two years for Southeastern Illinois College and was named to the Snow Classic all-tourney team, Lady Jaguar Classic all-tourney team, named Conference Freshman of the Year and NJCAA All Region Freshman of the Year.  Carter has been a nursing tech at Baptist Hospital East for 13 years.  Married, she resides in her hometown of Scottsburg.
